Cyprus Delays EU Banking Directive Implementation by Seven Months
The Cypriot government submitted four draft laws implementing the EU banking directive to parliament seven months late. The delay has resulted in proceedings against Cyprus. The laws are expected to be addressed only after the parliamentary recess.
