Cyprus Distributes CO2 Certificate Revenues to Households
The Finance Ministry instructs ministries to distribute portions of 2027 revenues from the auction of emission certificates to citizens and households. Since 2012, Cyprus' participation in the EU Emissions Trading System has generated regular revenues, which are now to flow to the population as a dividend.
