Cyprus Economy Grows Slower, Inflation Rises in 2026
The Economic Research Center of the University of Cyprus forecasts a slowdown in economic growth for 2026 and a significant increase in inflation. The forecasts were revised downward by 0.6 percentage points for 2026 and 0.3 percentage points for 2027, primarily due to wars in the Middle East and increased geopolitical uncertainty.
