Cyprus enacts first AI regulatory laws with EU alignment
The Cypriot government is advancing draft laws that provide for strict financial penalties for the use of prohibited AI practices. The drafts establish a national governance framework to align Cyprus with the EU AI Regulation and are currently released for public consultation.
