Cyprus expands labor agreement with Egypt to combat skill shortage
Cyprus is expanding its bilateral labor agreement with Egypt to cover more economic sectors and combat acute shortages of skilled workers and laborers. Labor Minister Marinos Mousiouttas met with his Egyptian counterpart in Cairo this week to restructure the Memorandum of Understanding from June 2024. The original agreement had generated little interest among employers thus far.
