Cyprus: Extremely hot temperatures and thunderstorms expected
The Meteorological Service has issued a yellow warning for extreme heat valid Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Inland temperatures are expected to reach a maximum of 40 degrees Celsius. Wednesday will be predominantly sunny with increased cloud cover in the mountains in the afternoon, making occasional rainfall possible.
