Cyprus Feta exports record quantities, but milk shortage slows growth
Cyprus's protected designation of origin (PDO) Feta has recorded continuous export increases over the past 18 years and is approaching the 1 billion euro mark, with exports rising from 138.8 million euros in 2007 to 835.1 million euros in 2025. However, declining sheep's milk production is endangering the supply chain and could slow growth.
