Cyprus: Fewer Deaths from Viral Hepatitis Than EU Average
According to Eurostat data, viral hepatitis caused a mortality rate of 0.21 per 100,000 people in Cyprus in 2023, significantly below the EU average of 0.64 per 100,000. The highest death rates were recorded in Italy, Latvia, and Austria.
