Cyprus grants farmers 1.17 million euros in damages
The cabinet approved 1.17 million euros as compensation for farmers whose crops were damaged by extreme weather between 2025 and 2026. The agricultural authority program covers various crops such as avocados, citrus fruits, olives, and potatoes as well as damage to fruit and agricultural infrastructure caused by fires.
