Cyprus: Greenhouse Gas Emissions Up 67 Percent
While greenhouse gas emissions declined in Europe, they rose in Cyprus by 67.1 percent between 1990 and 2024, according to Eurostat. Additionally, approximately 13 percent of Cyprus's land area was affected by drought in 2024, pointing to serious environmental problems.
