Cyprus has lowest proportion of young teachers in EU
According to a European Commission report, only 3 percent of Cypriot teachers are under 30 years old – jointly the lowest proportion in the EU along with Portugal. The EU average is 8 percent, while Malta records the highest proportion at 17 percent.
