Cyprus honors 110 scouts with state medals and increases funding
The Cypriot Scout Corps awarded 110 young people the Scout Diploma of the Republic at a ceremony in the Presidential Palace. President Nikos Christodoulides announced a significant increase in state support: annual funding for the scouting organization will rise from 50,000 to 75,000 euros, with an additional 100,000 euros provided for scout camps. The government reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the scout movement.
