Cyprus Household Debt Reaches 54% of GDP
Household financial assets in Cyprus totaled 65.1 billion euros at the end of December 2025, according to the central bank. Household debt in Cyprus has grown to 54% of GDP, with cash and bank deposits accounting for 53% of assets, while stocks make up 26% and securities 3%.
