Cyprus Implements International Code for Infant Formula
Cyprus introduces the international marketing code for infant formula and the ten steps to successful breastfeeding promotion by the WHO and UNICEF into force. At least 80% of healthcare professionals caring for mothers, newborns, and infants must be trained, and free samples of infant formula substitutes will be restricted.
