Cyprus in Favorable Position on Public Finances
According to the European Stability Mechanism (ESM), Cyprus is in a favorable position regarding its public finances. Cyprus is among five Eurozone countries that received financial assistance from the ESM and have since achieved substantial improvement in their fiscal situation. Approximately half of the Eurozone countries have made significant progress in recent years.
