Cyprus in final stages of emergency and rescue services reform
Cyprus is advancing a comprehensive reform of its emergency and pre-clinical care system. The Ministry of Health, the National Health Organization (OKYPY), the ambulance service, and other state authorities are working under time pressure to complete all necessary preparations by November. The new National Rescue Authority will operate a 24-hour poison information center. A project plan to combat poisoning and an emergency center are central components of this reform.
