Cyprus: Inflation Remains High Despite Eurozone-Wide Easing
While consumers in the eurozone showed slightly more optimism regarding inflation and economic growth in July, Cyprus continues to struggle with significantly higher price increase rates than the broader eurozone. A recent ECB survey shows that median consumer expectations for inflation over the next 12 months declined to 2.9 percent, but Cyprus remains above this average.
