Cyprus introduces zero VAT on meat and fish
Cyprus has introduced zero value-added tax on fresh and frozen meat and fish from April 6 through September 30, 2026. The cabinet-approved measure applies to beef, pork, lamb, goat, and poultry meat as well as fish, squid, and octopus, and aims to reduce prices of these staple foods.
