Cyprus investment position deteriorates
According to data from the Central Bank of Cyprus from June 2026, Cyprus' international investment position deteriorated in the first quarter of 2026, while the current account deficit widened to 1.27 billion euros. External debt has increased by approximately 1.5 billion euros.
