Cyprus Leads EU in Demand for Stricter Tax Enforcement
Cypriots support tougher measures against tax evasion and tax avoidance with 64 percent – the second-highest rate in the EU after France with 65 percent. According to a European Commission report, these should be the EU's top tax priorities.
