Cyprus Leads EU in Hazardous Goods Transport on Roads
Cyprus records the third-highest share of hazardous goods in road freight transport in the EU at 7.5 percent of ton-kilometers in 2025, according to Eurostat. The share has increased from 4.9 percent in 2024, after Cyprus had previously fallen from 7 percent.
