Cyprus leads eurozone in card payments
Cyprus recorded the highest share of card payments in the eurozone in the second half of 2025, according to a report by the Central Bank of Cyprus. Card payments accounted for 75% of all cashless transactions, while credit transfers followed at 16%. This underscores the digital payment readiness of the Cypriot population.
