Cyprus Leads in Home Long-term Care in EU with 62.9%
According to Eurostat data, around 62.9% of Cypriot households with long-term care needs used professional home care services in 2024 - one of the highest rates in the EU. This represents a significant increase compared to 2016, when the rate was still at 45.8%. The figures highlight the growing trend toward professional home care on the island.
