Cyprus leads the EU in food waste
In 2024, Cyprus has reached the top of the European Union in food waste per capita. With 295 kilograms of waste per person per year, the island is significantly above the EU average of 129 kilograms. This is shown by current data from Eurostat, which was published earlier this week.
