Cyprus Modernizes Paphos and Mari Military Complexes Starting 2027
Cyprus plans to renovate the Andreas Papandreou Air Force Base in Paphos and the Evangelos Florakis Naval Base in Mari beginning spring 2027. The two major projects are intended to give the Republic greater strategic weight and geopolitical influence in the region.
