Cyprus municipalities protest for improved financing
Cypriot municipalities held a three-hour protest rally on Monday to demand adequate state financing for the implementation of local government reform. During the action from 9:00 to 12:00, municipal services remained closed. The chairman of the municipal union emphasized that the reform cannot be financed by citizens.
