Cyprus must transition from corporate headquarters to technology production
TechIsland chairman Valentinos Polykarpos called on the Cyprus Forum for Cyprus to focus not only on attracting corporate headquarters but also to significantly increase its own technology and research production. The Cypriot Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) has substantially expanded its offer for funding research and innovation, now utilizing ten EU state aid schemes instead of the original three from 2016, as confirmed by State Aid Commissioner Stella Michaelidou.
