Cyprus: New formula for increased urban subsidies
Following consultations between the Interior Ministry and the Finance Ministry, a new formula for economic support to municipalities has been agreed upon. The annual state subsidy is to be revised and increased, with an allocated amount of 147.9 million euros for 2027. The new regulation takes into account the demands of the municipalities.
