Cyprus plans age limit of 15 years for social media
The deputy research ministry confirmed that Cyprus will submit a bill to parliament in December establishing a minimum age of 15 years for access to social media. The law would prohibit persons under 15 from creating or maintaining accounts on social networks, with the platforms themselves responsible for enforcement.
