Cyprus presents itself to London investors as stable financial hub
Cyprus is promoting itself at the Financial Times event in London as a stable European financial center for international wealth managers and family offices. Invest Cyprus Chairman Evgenios Evgeniou emphasized the country's significant positive developments in recent years. A recent EY survey confirms Cyprus's attractiveness: 83 percent of international investors rate the island as attractive for direct investment, with tax incentives, quality of life, and stability being the main factors. However, energy costs, access to financing, and bureaucracy remain significant challenges.
