Cyprus Promises: Palestinian Will Not Be Extradited to Israel
The Cypriot government has assured Indonesia that the Palestinian suspect Abdul Karim Raed Miqdad will not be extradited to Israel, as stated by Indonesian Immigration Minister Yusril Ihza Mahendra. The assurance came after public concerns about the transfer of the suspect. The Cypriot ambassador to Indonesia was subsequently formally requested.
