Cyprus Public Service Grows Minimally to Over 55,000 Employees
In March 2026, the Cypriot public service employed 55,367 people, representing minimal growth of 42 people (0.1%) compared to March 2025. While employment in public administration declined by 0.8% and in security forces by 0.7%, the education sector recorded the strongest growth at 1.8%.
