Cyprus records steep inflation rise to 5.2 percent
Cyprus's inflation rate rose to 5.2 percent in August 2026, up from 4.4 percent in July, according to a Eurostat flash estimate. This is the fourth consecutive month of rising inflation and positions Cyprus among euro countries with the fastest price increases.
