Cyprus: Reduction of inter-departmental promotions in civil service
The state is increasingly reducing positions designated for inter-departmental promotions in the administration. At this pace, soon more positions could be exempted from this regulation than actually participate in the reformed procedure, calling into question the effectiveness of the promotion system.
