Cyprus reports 305 Turkish airspace and 33 sea area violations to UN
The Republic of Cyprus has reported a series of Turkish violations of national airspace and territorial waters to the UN Secretary-General in a new letter. During January-February, a total of 305 airspace and 33 maritime violations by Turkish air and naval forces were documented. The letter was published as an official UN Security Council document under number S/2026/240 and also includes violations of international aviation rules in the FIR Nicosia.
