Cyprus Rises in Global Startup Index – Greece Falls
The Global Startup Ecosystem Index 2026 documents a shift in the balance of power in Southeast Europe, with Cyprus and other regional ecosystems strengthening their position while Greece falls back. Cyprus records growth of 62.7% and climbs to 34th place in the global ranking. Greece, meanwhile, drops to position 51, losing four places compared to the previous assessment.
