Cyprus Secures Strategic Grain Reserves for 45 Days
President Christodoulides announced that the government will build up strategic grain reserves for human consumption to cover the country's needs for 45 days. The measure is a response to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and the Black Sea region as well as potential disruptions in supply chains. The government is thereby taking precautionary measures independent of existing reserves.
