Cyprus sends firefighting aircraft to France for wildfire combat
At France's request through the European RescEU mechanism, the Republic of Cyprus has dispatched two Air Tractor firefighting aircraft to assist French authorities in combating large-scale wildfires. The two aircraft are leased by the Cypriot state and are intended to substantially support French firefighting efforts. This demonstrates Cyprus's solidarity and European cooperation in emergencies.
