Cyprus shows strong performance at European Athletics Championships
Cyprus achieved one of its best results in the history of the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham with four athletes in the finals and two top-8 placements. The seven-day event from August 10-16 at Alexander Stadium was the first time the competition was held in the United Kingdom and gathered over 1,600 athletes from across Europe.
