Cyprus: Significantly Fewer Asylum Lawsuits in Court in 2025
The Legal Service of the Republic of Cyprus published its annual report and documented a significant decline in court proceedings filed by asylum seekers and other foreigners against the state. The report includes appeals, detention and deportation orders, as well as habeas corpus applications and other legal measures before international courts. The figures show a decrease compared to the two preceding years.
