Cyprus solution crucial for air traffic safety in FIR
Deputy Chief of Civil Aviation Haris Antoniades explains that resolving the Cyprus question is necessary to address long-term air traffic safety problems in the Nicosia FIR (Flight Information Region). The reason: Turkey is the only neighboring country with which Cyprus does not have air traffic control communication.
