Cyprus Sports Sector Employs Over 4,000 People
According to Eurostat data, approximately 4,400 people were employed in the Cypriot sports sector in 2025, of which 1,400 were aged between 15 and 29 years and 3,000 between 30 and 64 years. This is part of a broader EU overview showing that nearly 1.8 million people work in the sports industry across the EU.
