Cyprus state debt: loan repayments decline, but interest costs remain high
Cyprus's state debt shows relief starting in 2029 when loan repayment obligations will fall by 50.3 percent to 1.36 billion euros, thanks to a sharp decline in externally owed debt. At the same time, debt servicing costs (interest and fees) remain persistently high.
