Cyprus Strengthens Firefighting Efforts with Drones and Evacuation Drills
The Bank of Cyprus activates drones in collaboration with the fire department for early detection and prevention of wildfires. In parallel, civil defense will conduct evacuation drills in all districts in May to improve emergency preparedness before the wildfire season and strengthen coordination between authorities and communities.
