Cyprus strengthens partnerships with Japan in research and business
Cyprus's chief scientist Demetris Skourides represented the country at the 23rd Science and Technology in Society Forum in Kyoto (October 4-6). At the same time, Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos held talks with his Japanese counterpart Toshimitsu Motegi in Tokyo and described this as the beginning of a "new chapter" in bilateral relations. The cooperation is to focus on shipping, business, technology, and higher education.
