Cyprus Strengthens Position in European Defence Industry
Cyprus is participating with a 28-percent share in 16 projects of the European Defence Fund (EDF) 2025, which were announced on April 15, 2026. The Cypriot association for research and innovation companies (ΚΣΕΕΚ) and the Cyprus Defence and Space Industry Cluster (CyDIC) view this as confirmation of Cyprus's continuous strengthening in the European defence industry. With this share, Cyprus ranks 13th within the EU.
