Cyprus Strengthens Position in Space and Satellite Technology
Cyprus is seeking to strengthen its role in space and remote sensing technologies, as announced by Deputy Research Minister Nikodemos Damianou at the RSCy 2026 conference in Paphos. Over 250 delegates from more than 30 countries gathered for the International Conference on Remote Sensing and Geoinformation of the Environment. Damianou emphasized that satellites and related technologies represent critical infrastructure.
