Cyprus struggles with massive skill shortages in technology and healthcare
A new EURES study shows that Cyprus suffered from skill shortages in 63 professions in 2024, while only 11 professions recorded oversupply. The most severe bottlenecks occurred in healthcare, digital technologies, and tourism. The report highlights the structural challenges of the Cypriot labor market in meeting skill requirements.
