Cyprus talks deadlocked: Turkey rejects convergence document
Negotiations to resolve the Cyprus problem show signs of a blockade. The Turkish side refuses to sign a document that would record previous agreements, while the Cypriot side wants to use it as a basis for resuming negotiations. AKEL chairman Stefanos Stefanou warned against allowing the Cyprus problem to reach a dead end and described the current situation as pessimistic.
