Cyprus Tests Digital Euro Technology
The European Central Bank is advancing the introduction of the digital euro, with Cyprus actively participating in the pilot phase of the new European payment system. Bank of Cyprus and the Joint Credit Committee (JCC) were selected as payment service providers to participate in beta testing of the digital euro solution.
